Chrysothamnus nauseosus
A native shrub 2-3 feet tall with long feathery grey or green leaves. Very attractive, heavy bloom of yellow flowers occur in the fall. Drought and heat tolerant. Does well on disturbed and poor soil sites. Common along roadways in Utah. Excellent cover for small animals and a forage source for hoofed browsers in the fall and winter. Can be planted between 2500' and 8500'.
