Artemisia tridentata vaseyana
The most widely distributed sagebrush in the west. A 2-5 foot evergreen shrub. The dominant shrub on many sites from valley benches to the alpine zone. The Hobble Creek variety is a robust highly palatable source adapted to areas which receive more than 14- inches of precipitation and have deeper soils.
