Black sagebrush, compact (4”-16”), splendid evergreen sage equally suited to landscaping or restoration. Full sun. Grows in moderately alkaline or saline (7 – 8.5 pH) soils on gravelly slopes or flats with fine, shallow soils and low moisture.
